Warren James Games and SpindleHorse team up for a tabletop trip through the Seven Rings of Hell.

Hell just got a game night. Warren James Games announced Helluva Boss: The Seven Sigils yesterday, October 8, 2026, a cooperative board game built on Vivienne Medrano's (VivziePop) animated series, and pre-registration is open now at 7sigils.com ahead of a Kickstarter launch. The game was developed with SpindleHorse, with Medrano's team involved to keep the dark comedy and supernatural chaos intact.

Helluva Boss streams on Prime Video and YouTube.

What is the Helluva Boss board game?

The hook is a physical Tower, which players drop Sin Shards in, and whatever comes out dictates the group's options. Everyone wins or loses together, and the goal is to complete all seven Sigils, one for each of the Seven Rings of Hell.

There's a catch, though. Every Sigil you finish raises the requirements on its neighbors, so each win makes the next puzzle harder. Single-use Spell Cards let players bend the rules, but casting them costs Gold. Groups can also remix the Sigils or start them at higher requirements for tougher runs.

"Giving fans new ways to step into the worlds they love is why we do what we do," said Nate Murray, Head of Games at Warren James Games. "Vivienne and the SpindleHorse team have built something incredible with Helluva Boss, and getting to play in that world has been an absolute blast."

Adam Neyland, Senior Writer at SpindleHorse, framed the game as a window into Hell's society: "There's a whole side of the society in hell we haven't fully explored and I'm excited to offer a sliver of that in the form of a super fun collaborative tabletop experience."

The announcement follows the studio's record-setting run on SPACE KING: The Board Game, which pulled in $10 million on Kickstarter. Warren James says that campaign and Game Changer: Home Edition together raised more than $16.6 million from over 75,000 backers, two of the highest-funded board game Kickstarters ever.

When is the Helluva Boss board game release date?

As of the time of this article's writing, no launch date, pricing, or reward tiers have been announced yet. Anyone who signs up at 7sigils.com gets updates, plus a free pin with any pledge.
