Two of the biggest names in Korean webcomics are getting their own storefront. Ize Press, the English print publisher behind some of the most beloved Korean webcomics and novels, has announced System Sync, a pop-up store dedicated entirely to Chugong's Solo Leveling and Sing Shong's Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
The shop opens August 14 and runs through August 30, 2026, at 238 E 6th Street in Manhattan, New York, timed deliberately to land during Anime NYC, the East Coast's biggest anime convention. The name System Sync is a double meaning: a nod to both fandoms converging in one space, and to the world-governing "systems" that drive the plot of each series.
For anyone who's spent the last few years watching these titles take over group chats and bookstore shelves, the pairing needs no introduction. Solo Leveling has become one of the decade's defining webcomic-to-anime success stories, following Jinwoo's climb from the world's weakest hunter to its most powerful force. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint has built its own devoted following on meta-fictional ambition, following Dokja as reality reshapes itself into the very novel he's read for years. Both are staples of the dungeon-crawler and LitRPG survival-fantasy space, and both are published in English by Ize Press, under parent company Yen Press.

Inside, visitors will find a curated shop of books and merch, themed photo installations, and a gathering point for fans passing through one of NYC's busiest anime weekends. The pop-up also marks the debut of Ize Press's original merchandise line, including glow-in-the-dark Solo Leveling apparel and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint shirts made specifically for the event. Collectors should also expect a stock of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint merchandise imported directly from Korea, the kind of items that rarely make it to North American shelves.
Shoppers hitting certain spending tiers will unlock premium rewards, including a commemorative double-sided tote celebrating both series. The pop-up will also run a stamp rally tied to Anime NYC, hand out bonus collectibles like bookmarks and stickers, and offer extra rewards for fans who show up in cosplay.
Other merchandise confirmed for the pop-up includes:
Acrylic keychains, standees, and plates
T-shirts and hoodies
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint figures
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint hanging scrolls
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint plush keychains
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint photocard packs
Solo Leveling bookends
Solo Leveling enamel pins
Solo Leveling desk mats
