Lucille Ball is joining the Star Trek toy box, and she brought a checkbook.

At New York Comic Con, Nacelle Company gave fans a first look at renders for its Wave 3 Star Trek figures, including George Takei's Sulu and a Lucille Ball/Gene Roddenberry two-pack. Pre-sale kicks off November 20, 2026.

The two-pack nods to the Desilu partnership that got Star Trek made in the first place. Ball comes with her own copy of an original series script, a Desilu checkbook, and a pen — and Brian Volk-Weiss says a director's chair with "Ball" on the back is also expected.

Meanwhile, Roddenberry gets a gold captain's chair, a typewriter, the original script, alternate Vulcan-salute hands, and a U.S.S. Enterprise model inspired by the one on display at the MIT Museum through March 2027.

Then, there was the Sulu action figure kit, which leans deep-cut, a feature of the collectibles that Nacelle is known for. The figure comes with the Alpha 177 canine from "The Enemy Within," a tricorder, communicator, phaser, and Gertrude, his carnivorous plant from "The Man Trap."

But no sword — yet. Volk-Weiss teased that fans should "ask me again in nine months."

Elsewhere on the panel:

  • Wave 2 is aiming to ship between Thanksgiving and Christmas, though Volk-Weiss says quality beats speed. One potential delay? Kirk's horse. Per Volk-Weiss, that "damn horse" accounts for a fifth of any lateness.

  • Wave 1 is on its fifth printing, which Volk-Weiss pegs as possibly the best-selling Trek figure line since the '90s.

  • 2027 could bring two waves and two exclusives — 22 figures total.

  • A modular bridge set is planned: 12 sections at $60 each, roughly 3.5 feet wide once assembled. Spock's station was on hand, with pre-sale expected next year.
