SDCC ‘26: LEGO beams down a 1701 piece set of the U.S.S. Enterprise for TOS’s 60th anniversary

LEGO is marking 60 years of Star Trek: The Original Series with a brick build of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge, a 1,701-piece diorama build recreating the ship’s bridge and transporter room, backed by a killer lineup of 8 minifigures.

The Enterprise crew roster covers the icons (and their associated iconic hair): Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Sulu, McCoy, Chekov, Chapel, and Scotty — rounded out with a new phaser piece and a handful of tribbles for good measure. The build itself centers on the bridge’s computer stations and a viewscreen showing off a Klingon adversary, plus a transporter platform with modular sections that can be reconfigured for display. Interactive gags include a rocking captain’s chair for battle-sequence drama, a working transporter dial, and a lever-operated turbolift door.

This is LEGO’s second Star Trek release, following last year’s release of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, which could also be purchased with a Type-15 shuttle pod.
