SDCC ‘26: Roddenberry archivist Holly Amos announced as new host of MISSION LOG podcast

Holly Amos was announced as the new host of the Mission Log podcast, produced by Roddenberry Entertainment. The announcement was made during San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

Amos is a Star Trek expert, producer, and archivist whose fandom began in childhood thanks to parents who loved Star Trek: The Original Series. Born May 18 in California, she earned a communications degree from Cal State Fullerton in 2009 and briefly worked as a professional organizer before a chance meeting with John Van Citters at a 2012 Las Vegas convention led to her hiring at CBS Consumer Products. There she spent five years as a Product Development Coordinator and archivist, working on projects like Star Trek: Costumes and the 2016 Star Trek Encyclopedia update, before producing the 2018 digital card game Star Trek: Adversaries.

Since 2019, Amos has served as archivist for Roddenberry Entertainment, preserving Gene Roddenberry’s legacy materials — a role she still holds. She’s also long been a fixture of Mission Log productions, hosting Mission Log Live and guesting on related podcasts, while writing trivia and appearing on convention panels as a franchise expert. Her fan-community standing has been immortalized in canon itself: characters bear her name in both the Star Trek ongoing comics and several tie-in novels. She now runs her own consulting business from the Los Angeles area, working as a Star Trek expert, archivist, and professional organizer.
