Caroline Cash and Tia Roxae are sending Bonnibel Bubblegum on a bloodsucking romance bender

Oni Press is heading back into an alternate-universe Land of Ooo, and this time Princess Bubblegum is a vampire hunter with a very inconvenient crush.

Earlier today, Oni and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products announced Adventure Time: Bonnie the Vampire Hunter Special #1, a 56-page one-shot from Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Caroline Cash (PeePee PooPoo, Nancy) and rising artist Tia Roxae (Face Fatigue, The Glass Chamber), hitting shops November 18, 2026.

The premise flips the Adventure Time status quo on its head: Bonnibel Bubblegum has dedicated her life to eradicating vampires — a lonely calling, until she stumbles into an unlikely alliance with one particularly striking vampire. The catch? That vampire already has a boyfriend. Cue the "hunter falls for the hunted" romance engine that's become Cash's signature move with this world.

It's a return trip for Cash, who previously delivered the Ringo Award-nominated Adventure Time: The Bubbline College Special. This time she's writing and drawing alongside Roxae, an Adventure Time newcomer.

"I'm psyched to announce this comic that I made in collaboration with my friend Tia Roxae," Cash said, calling her collaborator "a genius and a delight" and confirming that Bonnibel and Marceline's dynamic remains very much intact — "sometimes love stabs you through the heart."

Oni editor Megan Brown was similarly effusive, describing the book as:
