LACC ‘26: Bang Zoom! Studios is bringing open voice auditions to L.A. Comic Con

The dubbing powerhouse behind Demon Slayer and DAN DA DAN wants to hear from you, no reel required.

Los Angeles dubbing studio Bang Zoom! Studios is setting up shop at L.A. Comic Con 2026, running October 30 through November 1, 2026, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with a rare offer for aspiring voice actors: a shot at the mic with zero prior experience needed.

The studio's “Open Auditions,” a format it's built a reputation on, land at the con's Akiba Station on Friday and Saturday, paired with a slate of panels covering the business and craft of the trade. Sessions will walk attendees through landing an audition in front of casting directors, then flip to something rarer: dubbing an anime scene live on stage, in front of a crowd.

Bang Zoom!'s résumé carries weight in the anime dubbing space. The studio has produced English versions of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, DAN DA DAN, and The Ghost in the Shell, and its casting team has a track record of discovering talent that went on to become industry names, including Zach Aguilar (Genos in One Punch Man) and Abby Trott (Nekuzo Kamado in Demon Slayer).
