Titan Manga is marking two decades of Break Blade with a new English-language edition, kicking off with Break Blade Vol. 1 by creator Yunosuke Yoshinaga, on sale December 15, 2026, for $12.99.

The series needs little introduction for mecha fans — its blend of magic-powered Golems and political warfare spawned an anime film hexalogy and a follow-up TV adaptation, cementing it as a genre touchstone since its Japanese debut. But for the uninitiated, Yoshinaga's manga ran from 2006 to October 2022 across 20 volumes, moving through three different serialization magazines as its original publisher restructured over the years, and it sold over 1.8 million copies in Japan by the time of its special-edition reprint. This also isn't the title's first English release; CMX previously licensed it in North America but folded after just three volumes, leaving the story unfinished for years. Titan's edition gives it a shot at a complete run stateside.

Break Blade is set in a kingdom where sorcery fuels towering war machines — except for Rygart Arrow, one of the rare "Un-sorcerers" unable to wield magic at all. When Rygart stumbles onto an ancient Golem that only he can pilot, he's thrust into a full-scale invasion that mixes tactical mecha combat with court intrigue and quieter emotional stakes.
