Godzilla collectors have a new mission at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con: track down eight free commemorative pins tied to Bandai Namco’s Godziburst figure line, all up for grabs at Booth #3345 throughout the weekend.

The pins split into three rarity tiers — Normal, Rare, and Epic — and getting them means working the floor, not just the booth. Fans can join the “Escape from Godzilla” photo op while it lasts, compete in daily “Godzilla Games” (trivia, Name a Kaiju, and a roar contest), or simply keep an eye out for Bandai newsies roaming the show handing out freebies.

Normal and Rare pins ship in blind packaging and drop over the course of the weekend. Epic pins are the real prize, earned only by winning select booth games, with the rarest of all, a staff-exclusive design, sometimes traded directly with Godzilla team members on the floor.

Designs revealed so far include Burning Godzilla in blue and white pearl, three Mechagodzilla ’74 colorways (green, orange, and gold), and a yellow Kiryu MechaGodzilla. The two remaining Epic pins — Space Godzilla in purple and the mystery staff pin — stay under wraps until Bandai reveals them on its collector social accounts.

As with all convention exclusives, supplies are limited and pins go while they last.
