Trade your first born for one today! Haha just kidding. Unless…
Taco Bell has partnered with Salt & Straw just in time to bring you a brand-new reason to keep breathing: a churro ice cream taco! That’s right, friends: no longer must you cry yourself to sleep at night as you fondly recall the dearly departed Choco Taco. But keep in mind that to try out the all-new Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco, you’ll have to go to a Live Más Café location.
The Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco
The Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco was created exclusively for Taco Bell. It features a crispy waffle cone shell with Churro ice cream, topped with puffed rice in “a dark chocolate-flavored coating.” The tasty frozen treat has a suggested price of $3.99.

And of course, the Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco pairs perfectly with the Salt & Straw Choco-Waffle Chiller, a “blended frozen sip inspired by the taco.” The suggested price for the Chiller is $4.69 (nice).
Here’s the official description of that “remix,” from the PR:
“Encased in a crackable chocolatey shell, the Chiller features a rich vanilla ice cream base blended with churro crumbles and waffle cone pieces before being topped with whipped cream and even more waffle cone pieces, delivering the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy in every sip.”
The items were released yesterday, on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, and if you want to taste one for yourself, you shouldn’t delay: these selections will only be available for a limited time.

However, on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time, the Taco Bell app’s Tuesday Drop will feature a contest to win one of one hundred limited-edition Salt & Straw x Taco Bell coolers, with three Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Tacos inside, along with a special sheet of stickers for customizing your cooler while you snack.
